
Applicants are welcomed at the Toot’n Totum Support Center Human Resource Office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. We are located at 1115 S. Taylor (on the south side of downtown Amarillo). To be considered for employment, applicants are required to first obtain their criminal background record from the Amarillo Police Department. The Police Department is located at 3rd and Taylor. Applicants must provide a government issued photo ID (usually a driver’s license) to the front desk clerk at the APD. The background check does not cost anything. This process takes a few minutes. Please bring the criminal background check to our Toot’n Totum Human Resource Office and complete an employment application using our on-site computer kiosk. Total time required is about 30 - 45 minutes.

Here are the positions that we are currently seeking
to fill.
Customer Service Representative
This is our entry level position. Some of the most important features
of the job description at this level are intensive training, people skills,
team building and compliance with company, state and federal laws. Toot'n
Totum provides three (3) flexible shift schedules for our CSR's: morning,
evening and midnight.
Assistant Manager
All Toot'n Totum stores have an assistant manager. To
qualify for this position, employees must take and pass the assistant
manager's test. Some of the responsibilities as second in command are:
to run the store in the absence of the store manager, to provide further
training to our CSR's, and to be able to display the ability to manage
a store from the operations and personnel point of view.
We promote within, and it is from the ranks of our assistant managers
that most of our future store managers will emerge.
Fast Track / Manager In Training
This level of employment was created
for applicants with industry experience and with store management aspirations.
After 4-6 weeks of intensive training closely supervised by our certified
store managers, applicants will be eligible for a position as assistant
or store managers.
Store Manager
This is the highest position at the store level. We take
a great deal of pride in our family of employees and especially in our
store managers. They carry the full responsibility for all operations
and employee issues at the store. In order to become a Toot'n Totum store
manager, special qualifications are required. Toot'n Totum "certified
mangers" have
completed a two year course at Amarillo College, paid by the company,
on Convenience Store/Retail Management.
District Manager
Toot'n Totum District Managers are the highest field
level of supervision. All store managers report directly to the District
Manager. Each DM supervises an average of 16 stores and approximately
100 employees.
